  The Sierra Leone Charge d’Affaires ad interim (Minister Plenipotentiary) to the Republic of Korea, Mrs. Isatu Sema Aisha Sillah signed the agreement to support health insurance for the Sierra Leoneans living in the Republic of Korea.

The Korea Ambassador Culture Friendship Association (KACFA) visited the Embassy of the Republic of Sierra Leone in Seoul on Friday, March 22nd 2024 to sign the Memorandum of Understanding between the Embassy of the Republic of Sierra Leone in Seoul and the StarParks.

Before the signing, the Charge d’Affaires a.i. welcomed Mr. Shin, Hyun-doo, Chairman and Publisher of the Korea Ambassador Culture Friendship Association and his two other delegation members with warm hospitality of food and drinks.
 
The Memorandum of Understanding between the Embassy of the Republic of Sierra Leone in Seoul and the StarParks was made to establish a framework of cooperation in which StarParks will offer Free medical consultation facilitation service, including emergency and non-emergency medical appointment scheduling, ambulance services during emergencies, interpretation services for accommodation, medical insurance, tours, and medical-legal consultations.

Starparks shall introduce embassy staff, their family members, and Sierra Leonean nationals to renowned doctors and medical institutions in Korea and facilitate appointments for both emergency and non-emergency medical consultations at no cost. During emergencies, StarParks will assist in calling ambulance services, free of charge. There will not be any legal or financial liability in the above services. However, a patient will pay the cost for treatment and medicines after visiting the hospital.
