Today, our country ranks among the leaders when it comes to the percentage of women in the public administration and political sphere. As of 2020, women in Belarus occupied 49.1% of legislators, senior civil servants and managers.

This reflects the progress of our State in the global endeavor to increase the role of women in politics. We welcome the efforts of the Republic of Korea to enhance the representation of women in government and we are much convinced that this is one of the primary goals of the joint efforts of all nations”.
