On the occasion of the New Year 2023, I would like to extend my warmest wishes for prosperity and good health to the Korean people and the readers of Seoul City.

The Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of Korea have built a solid partnership of mutual interest: trade and investment, the transition to a Green Economy and the effort to reverse climate change. We share the common values of peace, democracy and human rights. Bulgaria and Korea support the UN and a rules-based international order, which is why we stand with Ukraine against the Russian invasion.

In March 2023 we celebrate the 33rd anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations and I am confident our countries will go on working together for a better future for all.
