As 2022 draws to a close with a joyous holiday season, I am pleased to address you to convey a message of thanks as well as my best wishes. As this is my first year of service in Seoul, it is also my first time to celebrate New Year here, and my experience so far has been one of great hospitality and kindness. The Serbian Embassy and I have received warm welcomes whenever we traveled around the country and furthermore, this year has been a great one for advancing the bilateral relations between Serbia and Korea in all relevant aspects.

It is my hope that the bilateral relations between our two great nations and the contacts between our two people continue to increase and develop. I am especially hopeful that our bilateral relations will continue to grow in the areas of economy, science, technology, culture, sports and also youth exchanges.

In 2023 all of us at the Serbian Embassy will endeavor to fulfil our duties to the best of our abilities and to the benefits of our two countries and its people. On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Serbia and my colleagues at the Serbian Embassy in Seoul, I would like to express my heartfelt wishes of peace, health and prosperity to the people of Korea and readers of your esteemed magazine on the occasion of the New Year.
