Venue: International Convention Center, Jeju

The 2022 Jeju Forum for Peace & Prosperity will be held under the theme “Beyond Conflict, Towards Peace: Coexistence and Cooperation.” The event will take place at the International Convention Center in Jeju from 14 to 16 September. Hosted by the Jeju Peace Institute, prominent leaders and experts around the world will come together to share their insights to promote peace especially in light of the Russia-Ukraine War, US-China rivalry and the COVID-19 pandemic. On 15 September, Ambassador Dagmar Schmidt Tartagli will participate as a speaker for the session “Leadership and Partnership in the Quest for Peace.” Deputy Head of Mission Miguel La Plante-Perez will speak during the session entitled “Post-war Reconstruction and Peace-building in the Perspective of International Development Cooperation.”
