FutureNuri (CEO Jeong-Ho Chu), a specialized company that has built more than 500 digital library systems in Korea, including universities, public, and corporations, announced that Mr. Akekarin Yolrabil on the 14th April signed an export contract for digital library solutions.
After the solution demonstration in 2018, FutureNuri and Thammasat University confirmed the excellence of FutureNuri solution and the suitability of Thai library application through continuous working-level meetings and online discussions, and using this to raise the level of digital library service in Thailand to the next level. It has signed a contract based on mutual understanding that it can be uploaded and will expand it as the basis for national digitization.
"TULIP", a digital library system built through this contract, is a solution that not only complies with international standards, but also incorporates the latest technologies related to digital libraries, as well as in Korea, Uzbekistan National Digital Library, Vietnam Police University Digital Library, Mongolia International University Digital. About 30 kinds of cultures and languages are different for each of the eight countries, including the ancient library and the National Library of Columbia's digitalization, with excellent experience and know-how, supporting national and global standards for digital libraryization.
FutureNuri (CEO Jeong-Ho Chu), said, “Up to now, the Digital-library solution has been exported through overseas support projects such as the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and the Economic Cooperation Promotion Fund (EDCF). Meanwhile, this is the first time that it has been exported directly to a country other than the target country, so it is of great significance as a starting point for the expansion of digital library exports to other countries in the future.”

However, FutureNuri plans to release a cloud version with software service function (SaaS) soon through the national defense digital library development project. The contract was signed through the Collaborate real-time video conferencing system of Blackboard, a global learning management solution company that has a relationship with FutureNuri as a sales distributor.
The two organizations used Docusign, a proven electronic signature system, as it was difficult to proceed with a face-to-face contract due to Corona 19 in the Pandemic Era. Through a real-time video conferencing system, the scene of signing an electronic document is shared together, and the contract is signed in the same level of form and composition as the face-to-face contract. We hope that the video contract method is possible in other countries such as Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Ethiopia, other country’s digital library, which is essential for national growth and education.
