-Embassy recommends Korean investors to take advantage of Pakistan’s strategic location

Pakistan Independence Day 73rd anniversary was observed under the auspices of the Embassy of Pakistan in partnership with Pakistan-Korea Business Association in a southern city, Republic of Korea last Sunday evening.

This year's Pakistan Independence Day celebration was more meaningful & significant in that it first took place in Daegue to encourage Pakistan residents in Kyungnam area, according to the Embassy of Pakistan. Labor attache Mr. Shafig Haider from the Embassy of Pakistan attended it on behalf of Pakistan Amb. Rahim Hayat Qureshi who was not able to join it because of his another previous engagement, Daegu Superintengent Mme. Kang Eun-hee who served as Minister of the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family and former Korean Amb. Song Jong-whan to Pakistan were on hand as Guest Honor from Korean side.

In a conference, dubbed as ‘Pakistan-Korea Business Conference’, Labor attache Mr. Haider recommended Korean investors to take advantage of Pakistan’s strategic location which is a crossroad between China, Central Asia in order to penetrate into neighbouring countries’ markets. Daegu Superintengent Mme. Kang sincerely hoped for the two countries to cooperate in the fields of education because Daegu emerged as a mecca of education so that another cities can benchmark its experiences & expertises.
