Honoring Global and Domestic Leaders, Marking a New Milestone in Consumer Rights Advancement
The 2025 Korea Consumer Awards Ceremony was successfully held on Tuesday, June 24 at 2:30 p.m. at the Korea Press Center in Seoul. The event was co-hosted by the Korea Consumer Awards Committee and Consumer Post, organized by the Korea Consumer Association and SeoulCity, with Korea Consumer Association Consulting Inc. responsible for research and evaluation.
Held annually since 2012, the Korea Consumer Awards honors individuals, companies, and institutions that have strived to spread consumer-centered values and foster a fair marketplace.
This year, awards were presented in eight categories:

Particularly in the global categories, numerous companies recognized for earning both consumer trust and affection worldwide drew special attention.
In his congratulatory remarks, Chairman Shin Hyun-doo emphasized that “this awards ceremony holds special meaning as it opens a new chapter for advancing consumer rights in cooperation with the international community,” and highlighted the importance of “communication tailored to Korean consumer sentiment, sustainable innovation, and responsible brand management that bridges both global and local values.”
Chief Judge Dr. Ko Seong-sam stated, “To recognize companies and individuals who have made substantial contributions to consumer rights, we conducted a combination of recommendations from national SME-related institutions and a mix of quantitative and qualitative evaluations,” noting that “factors such as sustained consumer satisfaction, technological innovation, market share, and sustainable growth as a global brand were comprehensively assessed.”

Ambassador Murat Tamer of Türkiye and Ambassador Emilia Gatto of Italy were honored for their contributions to strengthening bilateral trust and promoting consumer-friendly exchanges.

Artist Min Tae-hong received praise for his unique technique of creating artwork using meteorite powder and painting with his fingers, boldly expressing traditional Korean obangsaek (five-directional colors). His work is recognized for both artistic and educational value, appearing even in primary and secondary school textbooks.
CEO Son Tae-jeon was recognized for merging health and wealth management, offering customized health solutions and meal plans. He also contributes to the global beauty industry by promoting organic cosmetics and driving its sustainability and globalization.
Global Best Brand and Company Honorees

Henkel Home Care Korea Ltd.’s flagship brand Persil received the Global Best Brand award. Known for its powerful cleaning performance, superior quality, and modern appeal, Persil is loved by consumers worldwide. Since establishing its Korean subsidiary in 2005, Henkel has firmly positioned itself in the local market with brands like Home Mat, Pril, and Bref.

ㆍRegal Auto Trade Co., Ltd. (Kazakhstan): A new automotive export company established in 2024, it quickly achieved 12.6 billion KRW in total sales and gained traction in both Korean and global markets.
ㆍMedical Avenue (Kazakhstan): A medical tourism firm that has partnered with Samsung Medical Center and Medical Korea to serve over 5,300 foreign patients.
ㆍKOHO International (Netherlands): A trusted supplier of premium European dairy products to Korea, with over 30 years in domestic and international food distribution.
ㆍChikoVino International Co. (HQ in the Netherlands, active in Korea): Promotes wine culture in Korea through distribution of traditional artisanal wines.
ㆍKoRe (Azerbaijan): Plays a key role in civil diplomacy between Korea and Azerbaijan by facilitating used car exports and cultural exchange.
ㆍNAG Group (Kyrgyzstan): Imports premium white honey At-Bashy, which has been internationally awarded for its quality.
ㆍAbsolute Barrkee Industries, Capital Food Company Ltd., and Africa Industries Limited (Sierra Leone): Contribute to the creation of a self-sustaining industrial ecosystem in Africa through local production of food, daily goods, and industrial materials.
These global awardees were recognized not only for consumer satisfaction but also for their contributions to local communities and responsible corporate management, demonstrating their global competitiveness.
Domestic Consumer-Friendly Management and Brand Awards
In the Consumer-Friendly Brand category, Mudis, the digital piano brand of Croucher Co., Ltd., received the award for the seventh consecutive year, affirming its brand credibility. Also awarded was MONJOU, a brand committed to clean lifestyle products.
