  An ambassador is an official envoy or a high ranking diplomat who is dispatched to another country as a representative in charge of diplomacy. An ambassador has the duty of conveying home country's intentions to the host country and represents the head of state and its authority. This issue features photos of ambassadors to Korea representing each country. As of July 2024, there are 99 ambassadors, 4 ambassador designators and 12 charges d'affaires stationed in Korea.
