As the Dean of the Seoul Diplomatic Corps,, Your Excellency has been showing excellent leadership for the harmony & solidarity including opinion coordination of Diplomatic Corps., for example during the reception hosted by President Moon Jae-in on Oct. 18th, during Diplomatic Corps' PyeongChang/Gangreung visit to support the success of the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics and during MOFAT's 'Experience Korea 2019 Visit' program, to name just a few, following the tradition of former Deans’ excellent activities from Diplomatic Corps.

Furthermore, many outreach programs hosted by the Embassy of Oman & Excellency's lecture visits etc. allowed Korean public to understand Oman's history, religion, culture and cultural assets even more deeply while at the same time allowing to confirm that the potential of cooperation between Oman and Korea is wide & spacious and Oman-Korea relations date back more than a thousand years as stated during Oman's 49th Natioanl Day speech by Your Excellency.

Since presenting credentials on July, 2016 as Timor-Leste Amb. to the Republic of Korea, Your Excellency has been showing special interest in promoting gender equality, increasing both countries' cooperation to strengthen women's capabilities and last but not least boosting education cooperations between the two countries.

Touching upon Korea’s Sangnoksu Unit's peace-keeping operation in Timor-Leste from 1999 to 2003, Overseas Seoul Education Volunteers Organization's contribution in Timor-Leste education development and KOICA's contribution in the fields of agriculture, and education, health & child care etc. including Timor-Leste workers working in Korea under the EPS(Employment Permit System), Your Excellency has been stressing bond & emotional similarities of the two countries' peoples, adding even though the history of bilateral relations is short, but further development possibility is big as much as that.

Mentioning from since presenting credentials at the end of last year that Tehran-Seoul ties are very important and “comprehensive plans” for expansion of relations in various areas of politics, economy and culture etc., Your Excellency has been enthusiastic for strengthening bilateral Seoul-Tehran ties as Iran top envoy in Korea who stresses that Iran and South Korea have many capacities to expand cooperations & partnerships.

Moreover, Your Excellency has shown keen interests with regard to Korean peninsula’s denuclearization talks, issues and problems around the world today including terrorism, peaceful unification of the Korean peninsula to name just a few, pointing out that such issues & problems require worldwide participation, the interests of nations have become inseparable, and last but not least achieving a nation’s specific goal is increasingly linked to other nations’ interests. May peace be upon you all

At the outset, I’d like on behalf of the Diplomatic Corps and as Ambassador of Oman in the ROK, to congratulate you for hosting Korea Consumer Awards 2019 and all recipients this afternoon.

We understand that Korea Consumer Awards hosted by the NDNnews & Seoul Magazine; its affiliate organization Korea Consumer Grand Prizes Committee, presents right choice’s opportunities by digging out corporations, individuals and institutions equipped with competitiveness, reliability other efforts.

In virtue of such activities, Korea Consumer Awards maximizes to boost corporation’s brand image rise, publicity effect, helping to strengthen corporations’ competitiveness at the same time.

We recipients Ambassadors feel honored and privileged to be selected as recipients of Top Ambassador Award 2019 categories.

In my case, I seem to be recognized in terms of my activities and efforts in public diplomacy as ambassador of the sultanate of Oman, and in my capacity as Dean of the Diplomatic Corps and as president of Korea Arab society. I believe these efforts promoted better understanding, broaden the relation and cooperation and played major role in enhancing the relation and cooperation between our countries and ROK with many potential of broader cooperation and partnership in the coming years.

In that I’d like to thank NDN & Seoul Magazine for their thoughtfulness and recognition for us. I’d like also to congratulate all recipients in every category such as best administration, this year’s best brand, consumer-friendly management, best ambassador and others, to name just a few.

In closing, we would like, once again, to thank NDN & Seoul magazine for organizing and hosting this event and for your continuous efforts in promoting both Korean and global culture as well as relation and cooperation. Your effort and support are highly appreciated. We reaffirm our support and cooperation to promote Korean culture and cooperation as well.
