Annual Friends of Russia reception hosted by the Embassy of the Russian Federation which is being held annualy at the end of every year, took place as a form of year-end gathering last Friday(Nov. 15th) evening at the Grand Hall, Embassy of the Russian Federation.
According to the Embassy of the Russian Federation, Amb. Andrey KULIK who presented his credentials on Oct. last year, has visited President Moon’s mother funeral parlor in Busan who passed away last month, in addition to attending a reception President Moon hosted it for the Seoul Diplomatic Corps., showing his especial affection toward Korean side.
As well, Russia Amb. KULIK has been showing his keen interest in the Korean peninsula’s denuclearization talks, holding an interview with Russia’s Itar Tass News Agency at the end of last year & giving a lecture on April this year at the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies respectively, according to the Embassy of the Russian Federation
In terms of its cultural outreach programs as well, the Embassy of the Russian Federation has been consolidating its friendship & partnership with Korean partners by holding ‘Alisha, Return to Wonderland exhibition in Jeju from Nov. 3rd, ’Three Seconds’ movie premiere on June this year, Korea-Russia Dialogue annually, SIBF(Seoul International Book Fair) participation in the middle of June, this year, Aleksandr (Sergeyevich) Pushkin’s poem reading gathering held at the Lotte Hotel on Nov. 19, Ludmila Nam cherish memory concert held at the Grand Hall, Embassy of the Russian Federation on March 29, this year, to name just a few.
In the case of last year, Amb. Andrey KULIK assessed that Korea & Russia activated political dialogues by each channels, expanded the base of economic cooperations, continued joint efforts to construct regional security, according to the Embassy of the Russian Federation.
