-Etoile du Cinema awards are bestowed upon Bae Doo-na & Kwak Sin-ae through French Night 2019

France Amb. Philippe Lefort debuted officially in his external diplomatic activities by attending the 24th Pusan Intl. Film Festival as well as honoring French soldiers buried in Pusan UN Cemetery including laying wreaths them, according to the Embassy of France.

First off, Lefort bestowed Etoile du Cinema award upon Korean actress Bae Doo-na who played the leading part in ‘lAmHere’ in recognition of her contribution which contributed to the Korea-France movie industry development during last one year through French Night held as part of the 24th Pusan Intl Film Festival.

French envoy also bestowed same award upon Ms. Kwak Sin-ae as part of best cinema writer who contributed to the Korea-France film industry.

Following his attendance in this year’s Pusan 24th Intl Film Festival, Lefort laid wreaths for French soldiers who fought for freedom & peace during the Korean war in Pusan UN Cemetery.
