-Through its nuke weapons disposal policy, Belarus is for us an important diplomatic policy partner who supports Korean Government's initiatives for Korean peninsula denuclearization as well as peace construction.

While North Korea nuke negotiations were revived with US President Donald Trump & its counterpart North Korea leader Kim Jong-eun encounter which was held on June 30th Sunday afternoon, as a new momentum, Belarus's nuke weapons spontaneous disposal is being newly illuminated on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus, 100th Anniversary of a Modern Belarusian Diplomatic Service, and the 75th Anniversary of the Liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders.

In a diplomatic reception to mark it on the occasion of the Independence of the Republic of Belarus, 100th Anniversary of a Modern Belarusian Diplomatic Service, and the 75th Anniversary of the Liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders, Belarus envoy Andrei Popkov stressed: "Belarus disposed spontaneously its nuke weapons inheriated from the former Soviet Union for the sake of its alliance countries scope enlargement and further for the purpose of the security & safety of the world & regional society".

In that regard, Popkov said the Government of Belarus supports Korean Government's efforts to continue inter-Korean dialouges between the two Koreas in addition to preventing the dissemination of nuke weapons for the peace of the Korean peninsula.

In his return congratulatory remarks, Yun Kang-hyeon, Deputy Minister for Economic Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea, said: "Belarus is emerging as an important cooperative partner in terms of science technology ICT field, naming SK Hynix R&D Center in Minsk as an exemplary case of IT cooperations between the two nations".

Deputy Minister Yun Kang-hyeon for Economic Affairs from the MOFAT also noted that Belarus is a country which contributed to the world peace, disposing nuke weapons spontaneously, adding Belarus is for us an important diplomatic policy partner who supports Korean Government's initiatives for Korean peninsula denuclearization as well as peace construction.

Like the example of Azerbaijan, multiple vector policy the Republic of Belalus propells with a view to furthering friendly relations with all countries despite of geographic limitations is a benchmark object for many countries, according to diplomatic observers.

On one hand to encourage Korean participant's participation in the Belt & Road Forum for Regional Cooperation and Development which will be held on July 1-3, the Embassy of Belarus is publicizing it through various channels. Great Stone Industrial Park is one of the most significant and ambitious international projects, а "pearl" of the "One Belt, One Road" initiative, in which the Republic of Belarus takes an active part.

Today, the "Belt and Road" unites more than a hundred states around the world, opening up prospects for effective cooperation based on mutual benefits. On April 2019, the second Belt and Road International Cooperation Forum was held in Beijing during which the countries participating in the global project confirmed their intention to strengthen existing relations.

As a follow-up to the event, on July 2, 2019, the Industrial Park will host Belt &Road Forum for Regional Cooperation &Development “Great Stone Industrial Park – Global Opportunities”, according to the Embassy Belarus Seoul.

This outstanding event will bring together approximately 500 participants from the European and Asian countries – government representatives, heads of business associations, investment funds, banks, as well as large companies.

The program of the forum includes a plenary session "The Participation of the Countries in the "Belt and Road" Initiative: Advances and Prospects". The panel sections will be devoted to a wide range of topics – innovative development and new technologies, transport and logistics, prospects for cooperation with financial institutions, the development of a smart eco-city. From June 30 to July 2, an exhibition will take place within the framework of the Forum where the Belarusian and foreign enterprises will present their high-tech products, and existing and potential residents of the Great Stone Industrial Park will demonstrate their product samples.

The Forum will provide a great opportunity for participants and guests to assess investment and economic potential of the Great Stone Industrial Park, to expand and strengthen business ties, to get acquainted with the sights of Belarus, its history and rich traditions.

In his speech at the reception on the other hand, according to the Embassy of Belarus H.E. A. Popkov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Korea, noted the successes and prospects for the development of relations between Belarus and Korea, positively assessed initiatives to develop cooperation with the EAEU states in the context of the New Northern policy, welcomed the active development of the inter-Korean dialogue.

The Ambassador also paid attention to memorable historical dates, noted the heroism of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War, and also highlighted the main stages of the formation of the diplomatic service of Belarus.
