-“Oman paves way for the new era of its new Renaissance”
Currently, Oman Amb. Mohamed Salim Alharthy serves as Dean of
the Seoul Diplomatic Corps. who represents their voice to the
Korean government including National Assembly as well as private sectors.

Alharthy attended also in the famtour organized MOFA(the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Republic of Korea) as capacity of
the Dean of the Seoul Diplomatic Corps last Saturday which
included a test ride of new-built KTX train between Seoul &
Gangreung to carry travellers
during the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympic Games as well as
PyeongChang Winter Olympic Games’ game facilities tour etc. On
behalf of the Diplomatic Corps in Seoul, Alharthy travelled with
about 200 visitors including many ambassadros & U.S. military
officials based in Korea by the invitation of MOFA Minister Kang
Kyung-wha who is very diligent for promoting PyeongChang Winter Olympic
Games at home & abroad.

Because this year was his first host to commemorate Oman
National Day reception after Alharthy assumed the Dean role of
the Seoul Diplomatic Corps., this year’s Oman National Day
reception to mark Oman’s 47th National Day was unusual in terms
of his position as Dean
of SDC. Saying that “May Peace be upon you all”, Alharthy stressed
that Oman paves way for the new era of its new Renaissance under
the wise leadership its Sultan Qaboos. Touching upon Oman’s beautiful natural sceneries and colorful old heritages, Alharthy
recommended for Korean travellers to explore Oman’s tourism potentials.

Transport vice Minister Son Byeng-suk who was on hand on behalf of Korean government, said that he
sincerely hopes Korea’s experience and expertises will serve as help for Oman’s 2020 as well as 2040 vision materialization. Envoys from the Middle
