According to Africa Infra Development Program(PIDA 2040), Africa's infra development demand in 2020 reaches to 68 billion dollars.
So Korean enterprises are expected to be optimal partners for Africa which goes to
consolidate its growth groundwork because our enterprises hold their technology power
as well as knowhow through their experiences over 40 years in the infra markets of the
Middle East & ASEAN, said FKI chairman Hur Changsoo said in his welcome remarks

As regarding Africa investment from all over the world, Korea's Africa investment is
absolutely short compared with major countries with a total of 3.45 billion dollars since
2000. Contrarily to ours, China announced to invest 60 billion dollars into Africa until
2018 and Japan proclaimed to invest 30 billion dollars into Africa while U.S. also
promised to invest 33 billion dollars into Africa.
Korean enterprises are excellent in terms of their technology power compared with
competing countries, but their funding power is short, In that regard, Korean enterprises
must seek to utilize non-governmental collaboration consotium with international finance organization
development projects for example from the dimension of economic circles, an
African expert advises.
