“Reaffirms China’s commitment to world peace & common development”: Amb. Zhang Xinsen

Amb. Zhang Xinsen of the People’s Republic of China and Counsellor & Deputy Chief of Mission Chen Hai welcomed invited guests including the Seoul Diplomatic Corps. at a reception to commemorate the 63rd National Day, held at the Dynasty Hall of the Hotel Shilla on Sep. 26, 2012.

Including Amb. Vitali V. Fen of Uzbekistan who serves as dean of the Seoul Diplomatic Corps., many envoys showed up such as Amb. Sergio Mercuri of Italy, Amb. Patrick John Rata of New Zealand, Amb. Luis Arias-Romero of Spain and Amb. Rolf Mafael of Germany besides many Chinese compatriots in Seoul. On behalf of the government, the 1st Vice Minister Ahn Ho-young of Foreign Affairs & Trade from MOFAT was on hand and KCCI Chairman Sohn Kyung-shik & former Prime Minister Lee Hong-ku also joined the celebration.
Through his welcoming Chinese speech, Amb. Zhang Xinsen reaffirmed China’s commitment to world peace and common development. Touching upon Korea-China relations which commemorates bilateral 20 years this year, Amb. Zhang Xinsen said: “Korea-China relations are important for regional stability, adding he expects for the two nations to follow further greater development”.
Vice Minister Ahn praised in his congratulatory remarks that China emerged as the second economic power in the world, accomplishing its brilliant economic development since China’s reform & openness in late 1978.
Chairman Park Sam-ku of Kumho Group, Chairman Cho Yang-ho of Hanjin Group, SK Chairman Chey Tae-won etc. congratulated China’s 63rd National Day by sending their congratulatory wreaths respectively.
